Website Domain Names and Non-Web Advertising

Let’s suppose your website domain name is www.SmittleReveniaAndKlassenhaggan.com, a fictitious Phoenix Law Firm. If you are participating in non-web marketing, this domain name would be very difficult for potential clients to find you. With non-web marketing the website domain name becomes incredibly important, because people will have to remember your website domain name until they get to a computer to type it in.

Some common non-web places where website domain names are used in advertising:

  • TV/ Radio
  • Bill Boards
  • Magazines / Newspaper(or other print)
  • Other (Side of a bus, Sign at an event, ….)

If you advertise these ways, consider setting up a 2nd website domain name. We’ll have it direct traffic to your already existing website, so your visitors will easily find all of your information. The cost is low, and the marketing benefit can be huge.

When advertising this way, it is a VERY important to have a website domain name that:

  • Is easy to remember
  • Is Short (bad: www.SmittleReveniaAndKlassenhaggan.com)
  • Is Easy to spell
  • Uses the .com extension (bad: www.PhoenixLawyer.mobi) (People may remember the words, but type in .com)
  • Includes NO hyphens (bad: www.Phoenix-Lawyer-Network.com) (People aren’t accustomed to typing in the hyphens)

So ask yourself, which is easier to remember: www.SmittleReveniaAndKlassenhaggan.com or www.PhoenixAccidentLawyers.com? Contact your SEO Account Manager today to take your non-web advertising to the next level with a 2nd website domain name.
